This year's event will take place Monday, Aug. 3 at Canyon Farms Golf Club. Registration opens at 8:30 am, shotgun start at 10 am. This is the 25th annual golf tournament to benefit the Lockett-Up Foundation. Golfers and sponsors have helped raise more than $400,000 over the years to benefit literacy programs for kids in Kansas City; the last several years those funds have been directed to upgrading computer reading programs at Genesis Promise Academy.
